Known as the “Pearl of the Indian Ocean”, Sri Lanka is perhaps one of the most lush countries in South East Asia. The diverse agriculture that includes fruits, vegetables and herbs are all a part of everyday meals, making each day power packed with flavors.

And that is exactly what Dakshin Canteen is celebrating, with ‘Simply Ceylon’ , bringing together everyday tastes that absolutely delight the senses and a celebration of the rich cultural flavors  - all in one thali. 

Simply Ceylon features two Thalis - a complete vegetarian feast and another with delicious chicken and mutton preparations. These unlimited thalis include dishes such as various sambols - including Pol Sambol and Carrot Sambol, salads, curries such as Pineapple Curry for the vegetarian and the Mutton Pooriyal for the meat eaters and Kiri Baath or Coconut Rice with Lunu Miris for that exceptionally delicious bite. The meal is finished with the classic Srilankan biscuit pudding that is home-style and yet one of the most popular desserts across the country.
